Our farm was one of the first to begin using organic farming methods in Italy (1975). We mostly produce wheat and barley. But in our fruit orchard you will find a little of everything: apples, peaches, cherries and walnuts.
Our small olive grove produces an excellent extra-virgin olive oil, cold-ground by stone. We also have a fine vineyard, yielding white grapes, used to make the well-known local white wine called Bianchello del Metauro.
We also make some excellent home-made liqueurs from woodland fruits: bramble, rosehip, absinthe and many other delicious fruits.
We usually invite our guests to take part in gathering the grapes, olives, brambles and fruit in the countryside. For us it is a case of the more the merrier!
In addition to our own farm produce, guests can also buy organic food products (pasta, oil, tomatoes, honey, cheeses, etc) from renowned neighbouring producers (Alce Nero, Campo, etc.). |
